The LCI is intended for energized cable identification on secondary and primary circuits. It features a dual frequency technique that eliminates false identifications. The LCI is designed to be easy to use, safe for the user and cost-effective. The LCI-E transmitter is connected to the secondary side of a distribution transformer to identify the medium voltage distribution cable located anywhere between the transformer and its source. The LCI is used on isolated distribution cables. The equipment identifies the cable before cutting off the voltage prior to an intervention allowing saving time and money.
