Oberon’s FaceFit® ArcShieldTM is designed to provide protection from low-level energy arc flash hazards. The shield, when worn with a balaclava sockhood, exceeds the requirements of CSA Z462-8 and NFPA 70E Hazard Risk Category 2 (HRC2), up to 12 cal/cm2. The FaceFit® ArcShield™ is manufactured by an injection molding process with Oberon’s proprietary ArcX™ polycarbonate energy absorbing material.
