Tool lanyards are part of an overall strategy to reduce the risk of a dropped tool injuring anyone positioned sufficiently below a worker using a tool securely attached to the lanyard. Tool lanyards are designed to be attached securely at one end to a worker or a structure and at the other end to common hand tools. They offer a variety of lanyards whose application is determined by the weight of the tool and how the lanyard is attached to a worker or structure.
